OPPO Reno 4 Pro With Snapdragon 720G SoC, 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 Fast Charging Launched in India

OPPO has launched a new mid-range smartphone for Indian consumers called the Reno 4 Pro. Successor to the Reno 3 series, the new smartphone was launched in China last month but the Indian version of the devices comes with slightly different specifications.

The new OPPO Reno 4 Pro features a 6.5-inch 3D Borderless Sense Super AMOLED display with a full-HD+ 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, 90Hz refresh rate and up to 180Hz touch sampling rate. It rocks a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC on the inside with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of storage which is expandable.

The handset comes with a quad-camera setup placed in a rather appealing symmetry at the back. These include a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor with an f/1.7 lens, an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, as well as two 2-megapixel cameras- one for macro and the other for depth sensing. There is also a 32-megapixel Sony IMX616 camera sensor at the front, with an f/2.4 lens to take selfies. The camera comes with various features like AI Color Portrait, Night Flare Portrait, Ultra Dark Mode, 960fps slow-motion video recording and so on

The handset packs a 4,000mAH battery along with support for 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging making it one of the fastest on the market. According to the company, the phone can fully charge in just 36-minutes. The handset runs on Android 10 with FunTouch OS 7 while connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS/ NavIC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone will be offered in two colour options- Starry Night and Silky White.

Oppo Reno 4 Pro is priced at Rs 34,990 and will be available for purchase starting August 5 via online and offline retail channels, including Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Paytm Mall, Tata Cliq and more. The company has also announced 1,000 unique gift boxes of the Reno 4 Pro that would be available to customers pre-ordering the phone on Amazon and Flipkart

Xiaomi to launch Mi Beard Trimmer successor on August 6; check details

Xiaomi has for a while grown over being a tech lifestyle brand in India rather than just a brand that sells smartphones. Now the brand is launching another lifestyle product, this time for all the men out there. The  Xiaomi  India Twitter page just teased the launch of a new Mi Beard Trimmer which will succeed the  first-gen trimmer  the brand launched in 2019.  The new gadget, which may be called the Mi Beard Trimmer 2, will target males in India, a lot of whom are currently in lockdown and may find it unsafe to head out and get a beard trim or shave. “All the bros and dudes out there, it’s time to take control of your beard and become your own stylist,” said the Xiaomi India Tweet.
